TIRED OF WAITING ON THE UNIVERSE FOR LOVE
ASK MS. G – MAY 1, 2026
DEAR MS. G: Will my love life stay dysfunctional? I get that “redirection is protection” but c’mon now, dear Universe, this is absurd (smdh)! I cannot be alone in the world about this one.
SIGNED, STILL LOOKING
Dear STILL: I have some good news for the heart! You are definitely not alone about this one. A vast majority of my readings and sessions have inquiries about someone’s love life (or lack thereof). As human beings, we have an innate desire to be loved, to feel connected, to have intimacy, have security, and to know that someone in this vast universe loves us.
After looking at the cards, I have some good news and some REAL news for you. I’ll give you the REAL first: you are acting out a very “different” type of dynamic that is more personal to your past than to your current dating situation(ships). It appears that you move forward with high aspirations and great intentions, but you begin to lose momentum through thinking the other person is quickly getting disinterested in you. Then, seemingly, you assume that they are disinterested because of “someone else”. This isn’t so.
You are leading with too much personal information (problems, specifically). Potential suitors are finding this emotionally overwhelming. I have a hunch that you are too, as it’s showing that after oversharing you tend to retreat and wait for their reactions. This pattern is very much “not giving” and though I totally get it, it’s at the root of the dysfunction.
Here’s the good news: new options come in over the next three months, and I have a few resolves (new pathways) for you to try. Relax and have a good time. When your new suitor(s) arrives, just have fun and enjoy the moments. Maybe knowing that you’ll have several options will help with feeling anxious and needing to tell your entire life story. Save it. Give yourself the summer to have fun and enjoy good company while meeting new people. Separate your “good times” from your “long times”.
The ones that stay will be in for the long haul and down for the long stories. Hope this helps.
